Policy Area Tourism (Ministry of Economics, Employment and Health Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) organized in cooperation with the Baltic Sea Tourism Center (BSTC) the 4th exchange meeting of transnational tourism projects on 12 September 2019 at the International House of Tourism in Rostock. In total, 14 projects and 10 organizations were represented.

The aim of these annual meetings is to promote the exchange of experiences among local partners in the country, to get an overview of the current implementation statuses and planned activities in the projects and to derive future topics as Flagships* for the EU Baltic Sea Strategy (EUSBSR).

In addition, the current program for the 12th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum (BSTF), which will be held in Brussels on 13 November 2019, was presented. This year's aim is to position tourism in the Baltic Sea Region more strongly at EU level, to present current results of macro-regional cooperation and to highlight future fields of action in tourism.
