Nr.28  | 17.11.2015  | EUSBSR  | EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Tourism

At their 24th annual conference in summer 2015, the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) decided to establish a working group on “Sustainable Tourism”. PA Tourism was invited to the working group’s first meeting on 13 November 2015 in Rostock.

The speech focused on the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea region in policy area tourism, potential references to sustainable tourism and the challenges related to transnational cooperation in tourism in the Baltic Sea region. Other invited experts came from the regional tourist board and an economic research institution specialised in tourism matters. PA Tourism will actively support the work and commit to the progress of the working group.
