On 22 and 23 September 2015 the 8th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum was held in Gdansk, Poland. The Forum was organised in the framework of the Polish presidency in the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) by the Polish Ministry for Sport and Tourism, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board and Policy Area Tourism (PA Tourism) in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. Around 200 tourism stakeholders from around the Baltic Sea region were participating in the conference.

The Forum not only offered interesting speeches and discussions, but also provided an excellent networking platform, in particular in the networking village, where 11 exhibitors from different institutions introduced themselves – among them PA Tourism. In addition, PA Tourism presented the revised Action Plan and its status of implementation during the Forum as well as initiated the Forum Declaration which was adopted by the participants at the end of the Forum.
