3rd BSTC Partner Meeting in Næstved, Denmark

Upon invitation of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board, lead partner in the Baltic Sea Tourism Centre Project, the 3rd BSTC partner meeting was held on 17.08.2015 at the premises of Visit East Denmark in Naestved. Partners from Østdansk Turisme, the Pomorskie Tourist Board and PA Tourism participated in the meeting.

Topics discussed were

  • the Benchmark Analysis of „International Organisational Structures in Tourism“,
  • the results of the online survey on the specific demands for a potential structure such as the BSTC as well as
  • the current status concerning the BSTC project development within the framework of the new South Baltic Programme.

In addition, Mr. Knut Gerber from the German Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz) gave some interesting insights into the establishment of the Danube Competence Center within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. You can download the presentation here.
