Call to enter the virtual network

Yammer is an enterprise social network service that was launched in September 2008. Yammer is used for private communication within organizations or between organizational members and pre-designated groups, making it an example of enterprise social software. City of Turku, Turku Touring and Centre of Expertise for Tourism and Experience Management (OSKE) use this platform and has now been taken advantaged by the Network of Baltic Sea Coastal and Rural Tourism which has been created by the Flagship project 12,7 within Priority Area Tourism in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. We have already gathered 160 members in the Baltic Sea Coastal and Rural Tourism Network – if you want meet with them the channel is there. Just send an email to the Coordinator of the Flagship project 12,7 Päivi Oliva paivi.oliva@turku.fi and you will receive an invitation. This platform is a professional social network and the members are encouraged to use it for sharing and exchanging experiences and discussing the perspectives and future of the rural and coastal tourism in the BSR. In addition the members are able to use the network as one of the channels to disseminate about the events, tools, results and to find new partners among BSR Tourism professionals. Members are also able to send invitations to their own networks/contacts who might be interested to join the platform. You are welcomed to join the network to know more about the other BSR Tourism professionals and share policies, ideas, notes, and other information within the group. We are waiting for your input, so let the ideas flow.
